Wireless N router/modem with Gigabit ethernet conn

[link to this post]

I'm looking to replace my Netgear DG834G but notice that the Netgear DG834N doesn't have gigabit connectivity. I'm looking for a device with at least 3 Gigabit ethernet conections, wireless N capabilty and inbuilt DSL modem. Can anyone suggest a suitable device(s) that they would recommend?

Gigabit ADSL routers are few and far between but the Billion 7402NX BiPAC VPN ADSL 2+ Gigabit Wireless-N Router is what you are looking for although at about £150 its not cheap! http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/ShopDetail.asp?...

Some people buy a good Wireless N adsl router then attach a gigabit switch to it which gives you the same connectivity ie gigabit between PCs on your network and wireless N for internet access.

Thanks for taking time to reply.

A quick Google on the Billion 7402NX suggests that it may not be the most reliable of devices, which really puts me off. I'm reluctant to go back to a separate modem and router but may well have to reconsider.

Thanks, that looks like a really nice piece of kit, except that it only has a single gigabit connection.

Hi, I really like all the many features it has, except one thing! I dont like the ports at the front of the router
it looks a ruddy mess with the cables connected.
