An elderly friend has a SmartAX MT882 router, supplied by Talk Talk, for her broadband connection.
Generally it is fine but it has the annoying frequent habit of losing the ISP login data when it's powered off. I've given the friend a script for recovering the situation and she is happy to do this as and when.
There appears to be others on the Forum who've had similar problems in the past but I haven't seen any resolution. Anyone know if this is typical with this device?
Clearly a router change would be an option but I don't think she can afford it and she's happy to use the reset script.
Just wondering if there's anything else I can do to help her.
Hi, at last, I found the SmartAX MT882 router manual and the 'save' details for you in the user manual, Huawei pages 40/41
