Upgrading hard wired to NTE5 master socket

[link to this post]

I have been quoted many different prices and so are extremely confused how much it's mean't to cost.

Today I was told it would be £85 (socket) and 55 (engineer visit). What is the correct price?

I suspect the correct price is whatever your provider wants to charge you for it.

I'd thought that the wholesale price from Openreach was in the region of £29.

BT seem to charge £29.38 (£25 + VAT)

Trouble is I think you have to add in the flat charge to visit your premises of circa £100.

The OP is talking about the prices for getting BT out to fit one.
