Hi, I've loosley looked at this a while back and really got bogged down in that I really don't know much about this. I'd like to buy a set (ie one plug to take a feed from my router) and the other at the other end of the house to pick up the signal and thus give me 'net access. Can anybodyt please suggest a good quality set of these that I could buy, I like to use ebuyer if this helps but happy to look elsewhere. Thanks for your help
Hi.
Devolo seem to be rated well. I use solwise which are a bit cheaper and the writer of one report I read reckoned they were the same inside anyway. Although saying that I couldn't get the Devolo Linux s/ware to work on them.
Cheers
Jon

Thanks I found that OK and am anxious to try this technology. Whaty I think I need are two plugs (rj45) one to to take a feed in from my router, another rj45 to take a woired connection out to my main pc and a wireless version of the homeplug to broadcast a wireless signal in a room where I use my laptop. I've looked at so many of these and given the cost, I want to make sure I order the right and matched equipment, so can someone please tell me what they suggest I should buy to work as stated above.
Thanks to all for valuable information so far, and thanks for all suggestions for the actual, kit I shoulod look at buying so it all works together.
