simple router recommendation needed

[link to this post]

Hi , i've gone through the last few months posts on this forum etc, and I'm starting to get confused with technical info , I'm just looking for a reliable router to try instead of my Voyager 210.
I've been getting frequent disconnections the last couple of days , and nothing was found when I tried madasafish broadband checker, so I think I should try another router.
Any recommendations for something reliable ? I'm plugged into the main BT socket with no extensions , wireless not needed.

Thanks

thanks, Voyager 210 isn't listed there, are these the right ones ? :-

Statistics Downstream Upstream
Line Rate 8096 Kbps 448 Kbps
Noise Margin 10.4 dB 20.0 dB
Line Attenuation 33.0 dB 17.5 dB
Output Power 19.8 dBm 12.1 dBm

Currently experiencing my longest connection since Monday

You will be please to know you have almost perfect stats for standard ADSL (the up to 8Mbps product).

The usual maximums are 8128kbps downstream and 448kbps upstream.

You are one 32kbps step from the maximum downstream.

You have noise margin to spare, 10.4 rather then 6 dB (usually referred to as Signal to Noise Ratio, SNR margin).

May I suggest you monitor the stats, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with your router.

My service has been good up until recently , I hope its gone back to normal . Lots of disconnections last night, except when the tests where being run (of course), and then they started again .
Reading up about the Voyager 210 there were complaints about disconnections due to overheating , so I wondered if it was getting past it.

Machines do fail eventually. Unless you have special requirements I would buy a refurbished replacement from http://www.dsldepot.co.uk
