Cannot connect my ADSL modem Router please help !

I've just purchased an adsl modem router
brand Zyxel p660HW that im trying to connect.
My ISP is virginmedia.
Im able to connect to the admin page of the router at
192.168.1.1 my options are wizard and advance. At wizard page it displays the configuration page.

Mode
( my options are routing or bridge )

Encapsulation
(PPPoA / RFC 1483 / ENET ENCAP / PPPoE )

Multiplexing
(VC or LLC)

Virtual Circuit ID
VPI (empty field to put in a number)
VCI (empty field to put in a number)
Select the VPI (Virtual Path Identifier) and VCI (Virtual Channel Identifier) used by your ISP. The valid range for the VPI is 0 to 255 and VCI is 32 to 65535.

these are my ipconfig /all details

The configuration page says the connection is successfull but i cant get the internet working.

Can someone please help. I really need a stable internet connection.

Normal settings are:

Mode: routing
Encapsulation: PPPoA
Multiplexing: LLC
VPI: 0
VCI: 38

Your PC appears to have no default gateway assigned or DNS, or did you chop them off when doing the copy/paste.

yes you right, i dont have default gateway or dns assigned.
this is what has come up when ipconfig /all

any ideas on how i can assign them ?

take a step back - have you configured the settings for your ISP and it didn't work, or are you asking how to configure it in the first place ?

If the latter, use the wizard.

Set the router to issue IP addresses using DHCP, and your PC to receive them the same way, and you don't have to worry about DNS and gateway addresses, because they'll be passed through automatically.
