Linksys WAG160N

[link to this post]

Hi

I am not very knowledgeable about routers but I want to replace my current Linksys WAG54G and I have been told the Linksys WAG160N would be a good replacement, as it will work with my existing laptop and wireless cards.

Does this sound like a good replacement and will it continue to work with my current ADSL connection?

Thanks

P

I suspect it'll be as good as anything else and if you are happy with the previous model the new one should be fine. Personally I tend to buy the cheapest router I can find, even refurbished models, as I've never had a reason to pay more.

Hi, the Linksys WAG160N 300Mbps wireless router looks great and it should work with your older G standard 54Mbps kit.

Two good reviews here.

I have not seen PSTN before, it seemed to be always termed as POTS.

PSTN http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_switched_telephone_network
POTS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plain_old_telephone_service

There are some good offers with the Linksys WAG160N router like a Free adapter of your choice.
