I've got the o2 wireless box II and am trying to use a Buffalo WHR G54 with DD-WRT latest stable firmware on.
If I plug the Buffalo into the o2 box then it'll receive an IP but any devices plugged into the buffalo aren't able to connect to the o2 wireless box or see the outside net.
Is this due to the DD-WRT box needing to be set up as a DMZ'd IP, as the o2 wireless box II doesn't support this for the ADSL2+ connection :/
Anyone had any experience with this? Thanks.
I assume you mean the wireless side isn't working. Is it v24 of the dd-wrt software your using ? Try a reflash and use the v23 sp2 final firmware. I have that version my buffalo wla g54.
I did try wds between the buffalo and my tompson 585v7 but that was no go (so will try home plug to move the buffalo further away in the house).
No I don't just mean wireless, I mean no connectivity at all to the internet when running
o2 Wireless Box -> Buffalo > PC
The PC gets an IP from the buffalo, and the Buffalo gets assigned an IP from the o2 box but the PC can't connect to the o2 box and doesn't see any internet activity.
I'll try and method badboy posted, although I'm not sure how similar the BeBox and o2 boxes are.
