Router for home?

Currently i have a Netgear DG834Gv3 but i'm needing to replace it.....

Internet :- adsl24/enta adslmax (VERY short line (200 meters)

I use the internet mainly for browsing and a lot of internet gaming.

Any recommendations these days?

Do you use wifi?

Yea it would be nice to have, but could leave it out if there's a really good one which doesn't need it?

If you liked the NG834v3 why not go for the DG834gt. It is a faster router with more features and the interface is very similar.
They are not expensive less than £50.00 for new- or nearly new, just keep looking on Amazon.

Try a Thomson TG585. Cheap, cheerful, very stable, excellent connection speeds, surprisingly competent. Not as feature-rich as my Vigor2800 but what do you expect for about £40! Oh yes, it includes WIFI.

Problem with packetloss on my line, as usual BT and enta say its my router but its very new!

I thought about the GT looks nice and it has great reviews from what i saw.

The Thompson one i saw that people who had problems with the older netgear ones took this and it was a godsend.... I think i might go for the GT or look at changing provider to BT completely and getting their router... not sure though.

Either you have wifi-equipped devices (laptops, pc, games consoles, media streamers) or you don't.

If you use any wifi then you NEED it in the router.

Everything is wifi enabled here, laptop and both desktops. But i also have a cat5 network so either way everything will be connected.

But to be clear It would be best if it had wifi.
