Linksys Internet Camera

[link to this post]

I have bought this camera to improve home security. It was easy enough to set up on my home network but I would like to access this remotely. The instructions seem to suggest that I have to set up port forwarding on my router. The example looks ok on the Lynksys router but i have the Sky sagem router, and have have no idear where these settings are. There is a something under security called remote connection but this is greyed out. The question is have i wasted my money because of the limitations of the Sky router or have I missed something. Any help would be appreciated. My technical ability is only average.

Thanks

These instructions for Bitcomet imply it can be done http://www.skyuser.co.uk/index.php?news=1199

I have now managed to set this up remotely, quite straight forward after all.

My next task is to set this up with my nokia 95 phone via RTSP. The instructions are weak on this matter. Has anyone done this and can they advise.?

Have you forwarded the port in your router that the RSTP stream is set to??

It's usually port 554.

Thanks Pete but I have opened port 554 on my router.
Because Sky do not allow static ip addresses, I have signed up to TZO DDNS and use the supplied domain name when I access the camera from a remote computer.
Presumably I use the same address from my mobile phone.
