Netgear WN802T v2

[link to this post]

Having a frustrating time getting my Netgear Router and my Netgear AP to play friendly.

Heres the setup:
DSL modem wired via ethernet to Netgear N300 *theoritically* wireless to wn802T

Now, I set up the N300 with repeating enabled, added the WN802T MAC address, zero security, then added the N300 MAC address to the wn802T. That should be it, it should be working now...

The N300 doesnt recognize the WN802T, the WN802T doesnt recognize the N300. My PC can see both wifi signals (ive tried using different SSID and same SSID to no avail) but they dont see each other.

What Im trying to achieve is using the WN802T as a repeater, to extend the range of the wifi signal (house is made of concrete).

Tried the netgear boards to no avail, theres nothing regarding the connection of these two items specifically.

Appreciate any help.
