virgin cable connection

is it possible to connect virgin cable modem to a PC through Netgear 85 mbps wall plugged ethernet adapter ? PC with windows 2000 professional.

The wall plugs use the home electricity wiring to replace a length of Ethernet cable. So if you can plug an Ethernet cable between your PC and router you could use a pair of wall plugs to the same effect.

the adapters will connect a virgin cable modem (not a router) to the PC. If it is possible I wonder what speed I w

2 85mbit homeplugs should easily keep up with a cable internet connection.
