which wireless adapter

Hi can anyone offer advice on which wireless adapter is more reliable internal or external
also if it's not against the rules off this forum can you recommend a brand name (i've only ever heard off netgear)

What operating system are you using? Desktop? Laptop? Netbook?

Which wireless router are you wanting to connect to? General advice is to match manufacturer of router to manufacturer of the wireless adapter?

Using windows XP desktop. Dont know which router yet waiting to recieve it from O2
