Hi All

I am using AOL with a D-Link DSL-2640R wireless router as supplied by AOL.

I keep loosing the internet connection. If I look at the status in the router, I find that wireless is OK, DSL is OK but the internet has failed.

I have spoken to AOL tech support, and they tell me that I have to turn to router off and on every 8 hours in order to maintain a connection. That sounds like nonsense to me.

Is there any truth in their statement ?
