Hi Anon, have edited my original post� The answer to your question the £15 cable is (STP) Shielded Twisted Pair
(do not buy that); the £1.50 cable is (UTP) Unshielded Twisted Pair.
Now say you did use the £15 (STP) Shielded Twisted Pair cable.
First nail down the router, connect to router then uncoil cable and straighten, connect to set top box, let go! Set top box flies through the air across room spinning on the end of coiling cable and hits the wall opposite then drops to the floor coiling up like a snake near router. Have experienced this the cable has a powerful memory.
