Wireless Range extenders ( Which One ?)

Moving to a rented Room for work next week
landlord says i can use her Broadband connection
but the router is a fair way from the room i will rent
so signal is not great
Which are the best range extenders
prefer one with a RJ45 jack on it to connect Laptop
Laptop running Windows 7
