Yes, on the filter pat is a two way IDC for Data (totally unfiltered), and on the voice front plate a three way for filtered voice.

Yeah, sorry about that, I had 2nd thoughts.

The choice is really up to you ... and I am not sure if there is a convention for what you want to do!

You are going to need to use some form of splitter at the patch panel end, or use two positions that are NOT conventionally wired.

I would suggest: 4 & 5 Blue and Blue/White to carry the unfiltered signal which will go to the modem. Then use 7 & 8 Brown/White and Brown for the filtered telephony pair - then on the rear of the patch panel link those to another position. I chose Brown as it is not normally used in telephony whereas Blue & Orange are and Green might be.

And if you really want, run teh ringer wire up on 2 Orange - which matches the normal ring wire.
