Some time ago I posted about a problem that we were never able to resolve. That is, when I visit a certain website (fantasyfootballscout.co.uk) from my desktop, the site never loads. It does not load in any browser I have tried (Firefox, Chrome, IE). If I run a tracert to the site, it shows no problems at all. If I connect my laptop to my router, it loads. If I connect my phone to my router, it loads. Disabling my firewall/virus software does not make the site load. Now the same issue has happened with facebook.com. Every other site apart from those two continue to work as they did before. I had some contact with the admins at fantasyfootballscout.co.uk and they confirmed there was no block in place. Nothing is blocked in my hosts file. ESET finds no viruses on my desktop.
It's completely baffling to me - looking at it from a logical viewpoint it seems like the only thing that is different is the NIC card on my desktop, but why would that be blocked? My IP is the same across all the devices.
Any ideas?
