At the risk of repeating question from other members pls can I get some help with this
I've hard wired the house with Ethernet ports in each room (3storey).
Should have virgin installed by end of next week with their latest super hub.
Once it's connected, I'll obviously have the wireless N network and ability to link upto 4devices directly to the hub (unless operating in modem mode only)
Connecting the laptops and pc via Ethernet will be straightforward to get the devices online.
My question is the ability to connect wirelessly in parts of the house where the signal will not reach. iPads,iPhones etc will need this.
I have a d link router from their previous setup. If i disable DHCP then connect it up to the LAN port in the room that still wouldn't extend the wireless network advertised by the super hub would it? What would I need then, short of buying extra kit like signal boosters?
I have two d link routers and the super hub. I think I should be able to create a single wireless network that reaches everywhere without having to purchase extra kit.
Help pls !
