No, the Orange BrightBox has 4 x 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports( https://broadband.ee.co.uk/bright_box_router ), hence the limitatiom you see at home of about 10 MB/sec.

At an outside event you won't be using the Brightbox, as it's effectively locked to Orange, so you will see much higher speeds.

EDIT: I believe EE now has a BrightBox 2 with 1 of the 4 ports as a Gigabit port.

Silly me just realised my gigabit router has no built in modem, plugged in my new switch in living room and had to wire a single cable from old router into the gigabit one for the internet and one for sky box in bedroom leaving 3 ports free on the gigabit router and 1 going to living room for the switch and 2 for the pc and xbox in bedroom.

Is this ok, I assume it is
