These netgear switches can be a pain in the behind.. I've had similar problems. For no reason at all one cable will work.. but when you plugged another it there was no through put.. then kept changing the configuration and suddenly they worked. Very frustrating.

Thanks but have given up for now, until such time I have to resolve the problem long term!!
