TP Link TL-R470T+ Load balancing router

Hi.

Does anyone have any experience of this. I want to use it with 2 lines to meet the demands of an increasingly internet heavy household. With iPads laptops and Netflix etc one line gets swamped at times.

From the reviews it seems up to the task. I just have some practical questions about set up. Currently I have my adsl router handling the dhcp, firewall etc which feeds into an apple AirPort Extreme which handles the wifi and is between the router and a net gear 8 port gigabit switch that handles wired Ethernet connections.

Any practical tips such as how to set up the routers feeding it and anything I might not have thought of would be great.

Well ordered one and the second line will go live in a couple of weeks.

Out here in the sticks fibre is not an option but two lines should double the throughput if not the speed.

I'll report back on how it goes.
