I had a look into the Cisco ATA you mentioned.
So the ATA device just plugs into the router via Ethernet, and then you can configure it to your VOIP info (I guess it needs some configuration - HyperOptic has to provide me with this info?)?

Yes, the Cisco ATA would connect to the router using an ethernet rJ45 cable. You would need to get configuration information from Hyperoptic if you can not display it using the router's menu. It would make sense to ask Hyperoptic about using alternative equipment. One issue to consider is what happens in a power cut.
