One Router, Two connections

Hello,

I was wondering if there was such a thing as a router that would take in two FTTC connections (one via Zen and one BT) and offer the full bandwidth of two connections to my network? Currently I have two lines, each with FTTC on them. I need two for redundancy. I have a Netgear Router with a connected Vigor 130 for Zen and a BT Home hub for the BT connection. I was hoping that I could somehow put both FTTCs into the one router but cant seem to find anything definitive on it. Any advice, help or recommendations would be gratefully received. You might need to use two modems such as the Huawei HG612.

I use a Draytek 2925 for this in my house and it works a treat.
I also use Mikrotik in a community broadband project and they are superb but have a steeper learning curve but well worth learning. On Mikrotiks you can have as many WAN connections as you like, limited only by the number of ethernet ports on the router you buy.

Take a look at Ubiquiti Edgerouters. The lite version can be had for around £50, which you can use to load balance across 2 or more modems. We use the Edgerouter Pro to do just this and it works a treat.

As someone has already mentioned. MikroTik can do this and for a really economic cost. You can either load balance across both lines or you could set up some policy based routing to manually designate what goes over what.
