How can I resolve this problem to get my Win 10 PC to access internet again?
All other laptops, tablets & smartphones connect ok with BT HH6 .

If you mean typing in DNS addresses rather than obtaining automatically then yes. I assumed I shouldn't reboot PC after entering addresses , is that correct?

Should be no need for a reboot,
If you do a nslookup www.thinkbroadband.com
command from the command line it will give you information on what the machine is trying to use to resolve DNS.
If you have IPv6 partly configured then try turning off IPv6 support, and get the IPv4 stuff working first.

After typing nslookup in CMD I get "Default Server bathtub " and the bathtub IP address used for access.
After typing www.thinkbroadband.com I get message " Non-author active answer:
Name: www.thinkbroadband.com.cdn.cloudflare.net
Addresses: 240:cb00: etc
104.25.243.35
104.25..242.35
Aliases: www.thinkbroadband.com

Okay so the hub is passing on DNS results to the PC, what happens if you tracert labs.thinkbroadband.com in the command line?
Also this PC are you sure it is not blocked by the BT parental controls? i.e. there is a tendency for the parental controls to want you to authorise devices to have access, rather than be fully open by default
