Wireless Bridge Help Please

Hello, I'm hoping to tap into some of the brilliant knowledge in here.

I have a flat and a brick outhouse in the shared lanmd area. I have a velux window in the sloping roof of my flat and line of sight from there to a small window in my outbuilding. The distance between the two is around 15 metres. I am looking to put a wifi device of sorts near to the Velux window which I could power by PoE. I'd connect it to a power source and to my router. Then I could have WiFi pointing directly to the window of my outhouse. In my outhouse, I'd like to have a receiver (again PoE). This receiver would ideally be able to run an ethernet cable to a wireless access point within the outhouse allowing decent wifi coverage inside.

Please, I'm at a loss as to what to actually buy or look at, I hope you guys might have some suggestions please?

They used to have lots of cheaper options, but have moved to a lot of EnGenius kit, adding PoE always bumps the price a bit.

To avoid interference on the 2.4GHz band, i.e. often crowded by presence of neighbours Wi-Fi routers would recommend the 5GHz band kit

A pair of Ubiquiti NS-5ACL NanoStation AC Loco Outdoor 5Ghz 13dBi WiFi Point-To-Point PtP Link Kit and a pair of Ubiquiti Window/Wall Mounting Kit for NanoStation should do the trick for a 15 meter distance. The mounting kit would be a must as it can be angled up or down to get a good line of sight. Another essential is a couple of 24v PoE injectors as I don�t think they come in the box with the NanoStations. The mounting brackets are necessary if you need to mount the radios on the inside of windows!

Ensure the PoE Injectors you buy are compatible with the radios that you buy!

The links attached are for videos which show how to configure the Nanostation which I think will help you to understand the configuration.

A word of warning make sure that you only connect the radios to the PoE ports to the Injectors and do not connect the PoE ports to any other device such as a router or pc or it will fry the network port on the LAN ports!

First video shows old Nanostation M5 and a good description on how to fix the window mount at 6.22 to the NanoStation.
In the first video the AirOS is an old version but still the same setup except that before you had to enable WDS while in the new version this is now enbled automatically for the Ubiquiti products can talk to each other.

Remember to change your Ethernet adaptor on your pc to Obtain an IP address automatically again once the radios have been configured!
