If you are happy with the AC-Lite, AC-LR and AC-Mesh access points then these can be powered just fine from the passive 24v PoE offered by the MicroTik routers.
From the Ubiquiti side a Edgerouter X SFP works well for any FTTC based connection and even for a 330/50 FTTP for most people. It would not be able to max out a VPN running on the router at those speeds for download but would otherwise be fine. These are quite cheap devices and super flexible. A bit more expensive than the plain Edgerouter X but you get the 24V passive PoE on all ports. Pro tip buy it from LinITX to get a UK lead.
If you have a better connection than FTTC or want more switch ports the new Edgerouter 12P could easily handle a symmetric 1Gbps connection and has 8 switch ports and a couple more copper ethernet ports. It is however a lot more expensive.
In my view the Edgerouter X SFP coupled with some AC-LR or AC-Lite (my preference is for the LR due to 3x3 rather and 2x2 antenna) makes for an extremely robust and flexible setup.
My pro tip is to couple with one of these to power your VDSL modem directly from the router using the passive PoE. Will power a HG612, Vigor 130 or Netgear DM200. You could probably use one of these to power an Openreach ONT too.

Then stick the router on a UPS and you have power cut proof internet. I would recommend an older model reconditioned APC Backup model with new batteries. These are build like tanks last for ever (with battery replacement as required) and more than enough to keep your internet up for over an hour in the event of a power cut. There is a seller on eBay (ups-trader) that usually has Backup 500/650 with new batteries for very reasonable prices with a 12 month warranty (but you want need that, honest they really are built to last)
