Having a couple of Canon printers myself, I can only tell you that they are sometimes a pain in the neck to connect to wireless. the last one took me ages to get it working. i love their printers, but not how they connect to the network.
now my Brother LEd printer, was so easy, but i now use that on Ethernet.
i wish you luck.

Hopefully it’s not a WiFi compatibility issue. They seem less pronounced these days, but still happen across some device combos that just refuse to play nicely.

Hopefully it’s something basic in the WiFi setups and/or a bit of cajoling can fix.

I will investige the inner working of the B525
Annoying, I previously purchased an EE Mini router from Ebay for £10 as a test for signal strenght and that works fine
Then spent £60 on the B525 as it was "New Unused" and I have this problem

Look a this URL for an image of my router DHCP page
http://bures.org.uk/dhcp/huawei.htm

Look at this uRP for Canon Ip info
http://bures.org.uk/dhcp/printer.htm
192.168.1.153

On the DHCP page under the Blue Title, do I insert my Canon IP details into thios boxes then save.?

As I said before and you have ignored my posts, if your printer is using a 192.168.1.x address and your routers DHCP scope is in the 192.168.8.x range things are clearly not going to work. You need to sort your printer so it connects with either a fixed 192.168.8.x address or gets an address from the DHCP range of the router.

@Bures,

If I was you, I would do a reset on the printer and go through the settings and make sure it receives a 192.168.8.x IP address. If it doesn't pick one up automatically from DHCP then I would assign an address within DHCP. The other option would be to assign an address on the printer manually. If you need some more advice please feel free to drop me a DM and I will see how I help you.

As things stand you wouldn’t be able to print to the Canon as it’s presently defined in your Windows printers settings - basically it’s still pointing to the printer port IP address associated with the address range the EE router is handing out - as noted by @dect

What I’m asking you to print is the any diagnostic from the printer itself - NOT from Windows.

This will tell you if the printer is correctly joined to the Huawei network. At present we can’t tell for sure if it is.

Make sense?

Another line of thought…fairly basic WiFi setup related….

How have you setup the WiFi for then Huawei router - does it match exactly the SSID used on the EE box? Are the security settings (WPA/2 etc) and password identical?

See where you're going with this, a good move when issues like this occur.

Hoping for the OP it could be something quite simple. You never know.
