For the connectivity for the houses that are further away that you can't cable you are going to need some sort of point to point wireless solution. To do symmetric 200Mbps might be fairly costly - at the very least it is going to need some shaped antennas and potentially could require higher grade wireless equipment. It is a long time since I have looked at that sort of equipment so my knowledge of costs isn't going to help but I am not sure if £1000 is going to get you there.

The other thing you will need to consider is how you will protect the different networks from each other. Really you should be running separate VLANs for each link. Ideally you would also have logging in place so that you can log which links are doing what. Preferably each individual LAN would have it's own public IP so that they are separated in case a 3rd party contacts you about malicious behaviour on a link and you need to prove who had done it as otherwise you would be liable.

I have a local tech coming round at 4PM tomorrow to set it up for me.
I think a doctors visit for you is more important. Get help.

Okay thanks for the reply -I called BT Net as they said it is possible but I need to sign some more paperwork in regards to being responsible for stuff put over the connection - There was no extra monthlies and I have sourced a good wireless router which I can set up to 10 profiles and assign IP's on - I have a local tech coming round at 4PM tomorrow to set it up for me.

Strange. The whole point of changes is for compliance so that you aren't held responsible for third party usage. Your good wireless router will be totally inadequate for either this compliance or providing a viable service to neighbours just FYI.

If you're about to wind up a business and make employees redundant shouldn't you have a legal professional on hand to deal with this?

Unless all these houses are all wood construction, including external walls, then a single wireless router is very unlikely to provide useful coverage.

I have 1Gbps and it would appear my little part of the world is not going to be served by any alt.net and so on discussing with my neighbours last night I was wondering if there was any equipment I could buy before I close which I could use to share with my neighbours - there are 4 houses including me so I was considering 200/200 for a price we've agreed. Is there any kit I could buy with enough range and profiling to do this?

I can afford my line after close but I like my neighbours and I might be their only chance to get anything decent for 3-5 years to come.

Kinda answering my own doubts on this as it's genuinely baffling why someone would post on here asking for help with legal matters when they apparently run a business.

I browse the other ISPs section as I do every couple of months and come across this: https://forums.thinkbroadband.com/otherisp/t/4712259...

Lightspeed recently did our area - they just added kit to the existing BT street furniture and then added some bits outside our house. I am not interested in them as I want to go with an established ISP for now - and maybe them in the future

Another post from May mentioned a BT Net service that had been installed for about 6 months so zero prospect of a house move. Zero chance this is resale to other businesses as the claim was made this was a home service and it's unlikely OP lives in a business park.

I'm taking my leave from this one I think. There are glaring inconsistencies and odd statements from posts in the same thread let alone across multiple.

This purely posted so that when the thread hits the Google machine people can view it in context.

The OP (Buggs8 or the many other accounts he has posted under) is desperately seeking attention thats the reason I suggested he seek help from a doctor. People do liar from time to time for many reasons but he is a serial offender and continues with his lavish inconsistent lies even after being caught out. Most normal people would be embarrassed if they were caught lying as many times as he has.

Just a single AP then? Did you install it near a window or push the boat out and mount it up on a pole? How’s the reception and speed from the neighbours. They must think it’s cheap and awesome 🤩
