Virgin - NAT router

Sorry if this is a lame question, but it's about 15 years since I've dealt with Virgin Media - no chance of it coming to my part of the world wink

A friend of mine is about to connect his business to VM. He currently uses ADSL (up to 8Mb) for an office full of people, and uses a Cisco 877 in NAT mode. Single external IP.

What do VM offer these days? When I last dealt with them they just provided a modem, meaning that a single laptop got a public IP address.

The 'hubs' usually offer two modes...

Full cable modem with NAT router, OR you can run in a modem mode and by asking your own router to get its WAN IP address via DHCP it will get handed the public IP address.
