Vivaciti site is ok for me, as is their forum.

Have you tried logging in to the client panel and opening a ticket from there:
https://vivaciti.net/whmcs/clientarea.php

Or contact details can be found here:
https://vivaciti.net/contact

I do not want to post the support email addy (due to spam bots) but it is on the contact page

Phone number from the page: 0800 091 1797

The Vivaciti website is compromised with malware.

You can get to it by typing directly into the address bar or by following none search engine links. If you follow the links provided by search engines, you will be redirected to a site by the malware that has since been taken down. Hence the 'unavailable'

Vivaciti are aware of this but either don't care, or more likely don't understand.

Don't you mean whatever the search results point(ed) to were compromised?

If the site under vivaciti's control is clean and direct links access works, (which was the case at the time the problems were first noticed), surely it is/was the search link targets that were dodgy and have been taken down? AUIU vivaciti complained to google and google have stopped the access to wherever?

What else are vivaciti supposed to do?

No malware identified @vivaciti.net detailed report if you access it directly, and i fail to see how vivaciti can do anything about googles and bing's compromised links if you don't use SSL /HTTPS

That's not how such a compromise works.

The server, or site could be compromised and only redirects when it sees the referred as a search engine (or pre-defined list of sites). If you access direct, you don't have such a referrer.

It's a common tactic amongst those that hack sites so when you go to it direct, you don't think there is a problem.

In reply to a post by partial:
The Vivaciti website is compromised with malware.

Had this via google a few weeks ago, flagged up in Kaspersky. Eventually found out that apparently it specifically affects people who use Open DNS (which I also use). I don't know how true that is, I'm no expert with such matters. Email links and typing directing into browser are fine my end.

Any idea how to contact Vivaciti support?

My ADSL is down the day after it got installed yesterday (had to move from BE who are closing and were excellent). The problem seems to be with the ADSL - it does not sync at all, no up/down speed or SNR.

I call Vivaciti phone number (0800 091 1797/01702 410 043) and go through to tech support options 4,2 and after taking my phone number, get told by a person that the support number is redirected out of working hours (its saturday afternoon) - to some other ISP and they are not able to help me as I am a vivaciti customer?

Was told to call sales, which just rings/voice mail.

My line is vivaciti.co.uk, ADSL business pro unlimited, with Daisy appearing on the traceroutes.

Looks like support is only in business hours and so my line would be down all weekend.

Am able to login to control panel, and submit a support ticket - but no one is going to be reading it anytime soon?

If you considering joining, looks like support is non-existant good out of office hours then, and that is support for a more expensive business ADSL connection. Only been with them one day but regretting it.

Hi,
If you have enhanced care on your line you would have been given a different telephone number to call for out of hours support, if you don't have this to hand drop me a PM with your enhanced care ref number and I can get a call to you arranged.
The support option you went through is for Enta connections, your support option should be Option 4 and then Option 1, support for standard care is Monday to Friday 09:00 - 19:30 and Saturday 09:30 - 17:30
