Grain Network Issue (missing houses in rollout)

[link to this post]

So last week Grain were knocking on doors to my estate because their internet has gone live in my estate.

The issue is, for absolutely no rhyme or reason they have decided to just ignore every single even house in my street.

So basically in my street their service is available to 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15. And their postcode checker seems to pretend there is no 2,4,6,8,10,12 or 14.

On speaking to their customer service on the phone they have said their build in my area is now cancelled and terminated and that is it. You will never get Grain to your property

Looking on Grains postcode checker, they are offering it literally around the corner both adjacent sides which means they literally had to pass the even sides of my street to get the cable there to offer it.

Is there any reason why they would just ignore all of the even houses in a street like this?

And more importantly is there anyway to get Grain to suddenly realize they missed a section in their rollout to my estate?

Are you certain they had to pass the even side? I am assuming all those houses are on one side of the street and the odds on the other side. Could be there was a collapsed or blocked duct on the even side or some other ducting reason why the even side wasn't cost effective.

Yes, as the streets come off from the even side of our road.

There are other streets coming off from the odd side and they are all offered too.

And from a previous FTTPod application I made in 2018 I can confirm there is no ducting throughout the entire estate as Openreach quoted me £18000 to go 200m through my estate installing ducting the whole way.

The way the estate works is there are 3 entrances to the estate. I live on the corner to one entrance. You cannot get into the estate without passing those three. There are offering on both corners about 5 meters either side.

The other 3 entrances are all covered. Everywhere is covered except the even side of my street. They simply must have passed the even side. Trying to work it all out in my head it seems impossible for them to miss it given the layout of the estate
