Did Hey!Broadband take over Zybre?

I just got a strange email from Hey! I'm a customer of theirs, and hadn't even heard of Zybre until I received this, presumably in error.

We’ve been in touch with you recently to let you know about your migration from ZYBRE to Hey!Broadband.

We originally told you that your ZYBRE service would terminate on 1st June 2023, but this didn’t happen.

Your ZYBRE service will now terminate today at 1pm!

With this in mind, this is a courtesy email to offer you one last chance to join Hey!Broadband with any interruption to your broadband service.

Did they take over Zybre? I thought it was being sold to TalkTalk.

I also got the same email, which they finally confirmed was just a mistake, but it would suggest they have taken over Zybre, though no one anywhere seems to be able to confirm. I hope its not true as they need to get their own customers stable on the platform before it grows any further!

I think every HB customer got it. Worst thing is the apology email that followed it later in the day yesterday had “Hi [First name] as the intro.

Got an email saying my Direct Debit debit has been cancelled this morning!

It hasn't, it was paid last month, and isn't due until the 16th June.

They just keep digging....
