Zzoomm is now Fullfibre

[link to this post]

I know that it happened a few months ago, but it seems now the networks are combined, I did a speed test on my phone using an app, and it said my ISP was fullfibre and if i do a what is my IP thing, it comes back with Fullfibre.

Perhaps all that has happened is the IP range ownership has been updated at RIPE.

I would call that a first step then, networks likely are still separate and will be for months, but updating ownership is easy.

Will be interesting to see if the two retail brands (Fibre Heroes, and Zzoomm) will continue as the way to get retail sales, with FullFibre for wholesale, or if other branding changes happen.

Merger was agreed in January and completed in March was my understanding.

Really depends on how far along the network integration they now are….perhaps there will be a press announcement at some point….or someone on the inside might give a peek…👀

I saw that.

If they even want to integrate, or operate as different but under one ownership.

'Merger' as in zzoomm run out of money and FullFibre ttookk them over. The latest vehicle is 'Altnet Partners' from what i can make of it.

What do you expect with the advantage Openreach have, very difficult for any company to get a foot hold.

full fibre is while sale, but they do as far as i know have their own brand, so hopefully Zzoomm will not stay as a brand.

Certainly seems to be more of their vans around over the last few weeks, so hoping more people decided to have them.
