My gf has ask4 and she is far from rich and her rent is �550/month, which is normal in this day and age!

I dont find �50/month for 25/25 expensive either, i think some people just forget how much bandwith costs!

I know they are planning to increase the speeds sometime next year!

I agree I dont find �50 unreasonable for 25/25 providing the contention ratio is reasonable.

That is what roughly we were all paying for 0.5Mbps back in 2000/2001 anyway

I'd pay more for better upstream (and in fact I do now), just that 832Kbps is the limit where I am

Ask4 supply my internet in my student halls in sheffield, you pay a one off connection fee of �50 and then broadband is free for the remaining tenancy. Its very reliable i have noticed since i moved in, so they must have a robust network
