Do you have an updates for the other exchanges?

Hi,

I have been having some to and fro with Demon after some cap emails. They have just called to say my exchange will be upgraded to ADSL2+ within days. This is good, news. Well I hope it is. Now Cable and Wireless have upgraded our exchange is this likely to mean others with follow in my area. I checked Sam Knows and it doesn't show any information regarding this upgrade. Is their a place to find out other plans for our exchange?

Not sure "within days" is correct as EABTF does not appear on any of the "happening soon" exchanges as above but its possible that it has been added but we've not been told.

The lady on the phone was adamant and said it would be before Christmas. I will report back here if I get an email saying it has been upgraded and it actually works

Demon seem willing to spin any yarn to keep customers from taking their Migration code and moving off.... I have been in dispute with Demon now since August about poor IPStream performance and after much debate agreed to migrate to their Business IPStream Premium (ADSL Max) package - just as bad as before.

So, I get told my exchange (SSWSM) is due for C&W LLU "in the very near future", but they wouldn't say exactly when. I have an email to say Feb 2011 now (IIRC it was supposed to be September 2010) but I don't believe them.

So, if anyone is in the know, can you check if there is a date for SSWSM (Weston-super-Mare)... TIA.

Science Park (EASCI) is finally showing up on SamKnows with an enabled on C&W, but none of the resellers I've looked at show that I can have an LLU package. Does it take time for them to update?

STDorch(Dorchester) is now showing live for C&W.

So...what does this mean? Who resell C&W?
