Nippymail

I created a Nippymail e-mail address, more for testing purposes than anything else. I'm sure I've had this working before, but cannot seem to access the POP server now. Is there some restriction placed on access using ADSL rather than Dialup? I also can't access their Webmail option from their website.

I'm using this configuration for the servers:

mail.nippymail.co.uk

and account is: (e.g.)

fredbloggsnippymail

Can you ping their servers? if so try a tracert to the server and if thats all OK you can try to telnet to the server on port 25 and 110 (open a dos box and type in telnet mail.nippymail.co.uk 25 (and again on 110) see what response you get.

110 is what you want for POP3:

+OK POP3 Ready netmail01.eng.net

Oops though I was replying to the OP.
Err yes I already said 110 as well as 25, did I have a typo in there somewhere?

That's me but I'm not the OP!

@ OP: What error msg do you get from your mail client when you try to get incoming (POP3) mail? You must get something. Chances are your password is wrong.

No! But I was just pointing out no point in trying 25 SMTP as OP asked for POP and chances are his ISP blocks 25.
