Re: ADSL24 Murphx - peak and off-peak seperation

[re: deleted] [link to this post]

Something weird has just happened with my usage stats in the last 30 minutes, it's saying I have downloaded 4.372GB which I know I haven't. I had only downloaded about 1.7GB a short while ago.

All data is reported in GB (gigabytes) and is updated every 30 minutes.

NOTE: If you are on a capped package, the figures below indicate PEAK usage only. Off-peak is free usage and thus not included in the below figures.

If you go over your normal monthly allowance you will either need to purchase a top-up or wait until the 1st of next month when the usage will reset to zero.

Yea apparently i downloaded 8gig between 6pm and 7pm on Thurs 1st march.

My connection wont even allow me to download that much

1.25 GB
99.84 MB

Clearly shows i have only downloaded 1.25 GB since the 1st. So why is my allowance saying 8gb?

I've been seeing this sort of thing for months.

2GB+ in an hour which is physically impossible with a manually limited line sync of 6.6Mbps.

What passes for tech support these days simply keep insisting that the data is correct.

Frankly, I've given up contacting them for anything except a complete loss of connectivity. Even then it's a through going pain in the posterior. On the last occasion I was asked to do a factory reset on my router!
