Does this mean that regardless of whether I buy a resold o2 wholesale or C&W partial LLU will get the same?
Nope, O2 and TTB, the SNR can be lowered to 3dB. C&W is by default 9dB, with some trials of 6dB been reported.
We find O2 Wholesale and TBB products (we have some legacy TBB tails) to sync up higher than C&W. We also find C&W less willing to help without increasing SNR if lines report drop in syncs.

I thought i should ask about the gaming profile as when I was a UK Online customer they just adjusted the interleaving depth lower.
Let me clarify, some lines we can switch off, some we can only lower depths (INP1). Purely down to available line length/profiles etc. We can now and again get things poked further by manually by calling O2.
If you know on your own current line that only INP is being lowered, rather than fully off, then every chance the same will apply for us.

Be Unlimited allowed Proper FastPath AKA(Gaming mode) as well as 3 different target snr settings 3-6-9db 6db was the default with an INP setting of 2 ,these setting where available to customers via a control panel within the My account area, But on request the default INP value could be changed to 1 manually by support staff, However the BE Value package that has a capped ds sync rate of 12mbps there is no options available via a control panel, but some con figs are allowed via support, target noise margins &INP changes, but no fast path allowed for some reason
I would imagine that the very same options will be available to wholesale end users or should be at least,

ADSL2+ over any LLU or WBC is much the same, regardless of ISP. The main determinant is the Target NM they are prepared to lower it to.
The 12 Meg quote you get is only an estimate taken off a BTw database, that probably knows nowt of your line's history.
1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC

I believe my one is currently switched off.
Gaming mode is on and my profile is set for speed so I would guess I have a lower SNR target too possibly, Either way, With both gaming mode and profile also set to speed, I have a rock solid connection at 24MB (Near enough)
I'll post up some router stats when I get home in two weeks time.

Hi,
Changing a profile, SNR setting and Fatspath, are all something we can do through our O2 Wholesale service.

True fastpath on BE can only be requested via ticket or phone
Gaming mode is nearly true fastpath, but not quite
The INP=1 thing is for non-Broadcom based routers such as the earlier Draytek Vigor's

So can this be adjusted through a control panel from your website or is it ticket/customer support calls to get these features enabled?
Same question goes to Aquiss

Same question goes to Aquiss
It's via ticket/call at present via us (control panel is coming, but we have hit an issue with XML/API to make it work correctly).
Tickets are answered normally within 30 minutes during the week. Calls are normally answered within 30 seconds.
