Plusnet - Only 'up to 16MBb'
That's just advertising rules - at least 10% of users must get at least advertised speed.

It is still ADSL2+ just like O2, so you should get about what you are getting now. Maybe up to 22-23 Meg.
The OP is on ANNEX M (upto 2.5 mbps upstream) this woulld cost extra with Plusnet And i would imagine with pretty much any other BT 21cn reseller and any profile changes would be via support, which would be dependant on the ISP Some will allow a proper manual config others wont and there is DLM unless the isp will disable it,(yes it can be disabled according to some isp's)

For ANNEX M LLU there isn't a lot of choice, it's TT wholesale or o2 wholesale

I've had nothing but problems going with ISP's on BT's 21CN. I was with UKO then BE and both just worked perfectly. I want to try and stay on BE LLU as long as possible so sticking with what I know.

Aquiss - Only offers 'Up to 19MB'

Indeed, as we conform to the ASA rules from April 2012 onwards regarding how up to speeds should be presented and how this is possible by at least 10% of our customer base.

Maybe others should be a tad more honest wink

After contacting you guys yesterday, I think the response I got was one of the better ones (Along from Matt at Xilo) so one of the two of you should hopefully see my MAC code soon smile
