Thanks for info Bob.

I was wondering about the off peak usage so this is very good news.

Someone else posted on these forums saying their new supplier was Entanet strangely when they moved from C&W

Hi Bob,

Change should occur overnight as there is no engineering activity required at the exchange.

Thanks,
Paul

So once everyone is migrated over, do adsl24 exist anymore even if its just the name?

I notice the customer service number is still an adsl24 number, and would think coms would want to use their name to try and sell broadband products even if coms supply it, as adsl24 have a reputation that people know about, where as coms are an unknown entity in the broadband side of things

I received the same email that bobble_bob got in the first page of this thread yesterday at 5:13pm which I've only just read today - from my other phone line at a different address. Why? well thats because the broadband at my mums is now down with the router failing to even establish a connection let alone get online.

I haven't received a letter apart from the one "welcoming us to Coms" back in last year and certainly nothing to warn us that 22/01/2014 was a switchover day. I'm told its been down since 3.30 and multiple router restarts has failed to resolve the issues. Good job my younger brother doesn't need broadband for his colleague work tonight and good job I wasn't working from home... Nothing like some warning in advance...

Got to say the whole move to Coms has seemed very poor so far with us customers being told at the very last minute. For example I didn't even know ADSL24 had been bought out until they had already been - for several months. It smacks of the same poor experience I had when Pipex got bought out and that only got worse and worse. Shame as ADSL24 were generally really good with some of the fastest response ticket times I've ever seen.

For a company called Coms the Comms. isn't very good.... /I'll get my coat.

Was your Mum with adsl24? Did she have Cable and Wireless supplying her through adsl24?

Hello Vectrex

A few thousand communications have been sent so apologies if you haven't received anything. I'd be happy to check your contact details and ensure they are updated.

More importantly if you PM me your/your mothers user details I'll check the connection and credentials making sure you have the right information.

Many thanks,
Paul

Both lines were part of the 'Premium LLU' 12MB unlimited ADSL24 package. Not sure how I can tell if it was C&W that was the actual supplier?

Digging through my old emails it required a new login when her line was migrated.

Cheers
