Re: ADSL24 > Coms migration. What could possibly go wrong?

Oh right, thanks.

As I said before, it would have been nice if Coms had an update page where we could see what's happening rather than finding out the hard way. Er, unless there is one already lol

I don't think is is default for all users as i'm sure other users in this thread were not set to 12db.

On another note it seems the ticket system is not working. I raised a ticket yesterday regarding my upload sync dropping to 682kbps from 1165kbps after I was migrated to the Coms network. It seems my ticket was not recorded I went to check progress and on the my account page and it says I have no open tickets!

So can someone look into this?

Just checked after raising another ticket and the open ticket just vanished after about 40 mins!!!

Are you sending tickets via the old ADSL24 'My Account' or the Coms 'My Account' because if you send a ticket on the former I don't think you'll see it in the latter, they are independent

I'm sending them from myaccount.coms.com and it has failed on 2 occasions I have tried sending tickets.

The main ticket page is a joke, it loses the status of the tickets. They still exist just make a note of your ticket number and type it in directly (like so):-

https://myaccount.coms.com/myaccount/tickets/151234/

It's no good if you've not made a note of your ticket though (I forgot to make a note of my disconnections ticket), and when it looked like it just got deleted I raised another ticket for my MAC code - luckily I made a note of that one.

Just pulled the trigger of a 18 month account with BT......combined offers for 60 meg fibre was just too good to decline. I just hope it's the last trigger I'll be pulling......

Hi All,

Just a quick note to say Paul has been off sick this week, so if any of you have sent him a message and not received a reply, that's the reason.

Please feel free to forward these on to me.

Thanks

Credit where it's due.

My connetion went belly up straight after the migration to Coms.com. After enjoying a couple of years of fast and seamless service with ADSL24 the spectre of endless rounds of phone calls and temporary fixes seemed very real.

Having logged a call, the response from the Coms.com team has been nothing short of excellent and although I'm currently running my connection on test for the next few hours, everything seems to be fine now. I couldn't really ask for much more to be fair.

Is there a way to still access the old ADSL24 'My Account'? I'd like to save copies of some tickets.

Hi AlanMaz11

there is movement but nothing significant as of yet. The Majority of the accounts are up and running, just working on the last few. I will let you know as soon as I can.

Thanks

Dan
