Re: ADSL24 > Coms migration. What could possibly go wrong?

In reply to a post by the_gog:
At 17:08 today I found I got disassociated off the authentication server. My sync to the exchange is fine (12 dB in both directions notwithstanding). Spent ages in the support queue so gave up and left a message. At some point I might get my service back.

Also lost my connection for around 15 minutes from around the same time.

It looks like it could be widespread, then. I'm running out of straws and am nearing the last one.

Im willing to give them abit longer, after all according to my adsl24 logs before the migration i used to get the odd spell of downtime for 15-20 mins, just luckily i wasnt in when it happened

I'm back on but my net went down too, yes the twitter link is broken, plus they seem to have removed all phone support, left with the 3-day turnaround ticket system. Proper unhappy. If this is the "service" we can expect form Coms, I'll be leaving very shortly.

Ah, I work from home so the variation has become quite noticeable! I'm willing to give it time for the connection to settle down, but not to be paying this for the current level of support.

Likewise both of my lines at different exchanges went down about 15 minutes ago for about 20 minutes or so. I think this is the third set of downtime I've noticed since the takeover of ADSL24 (excluding the initial troubles). Hope this isn't a sign of things to come, otherwise I'll have to look elsewhere.

Mine's back up now as well, but my sync gets slower and slower and slower. I'm now below 12000kbps for the first time since I had ADSL2+ enabled a long time ago.
