Its being looked at by TTB, but what does the LCP do and is it something the ISP control?

It's basically a protocol that is used to establish and maintain the PPP session to your ISP.

Hi Baz

Thanks for the PM, Dan and the team are on the case. Hopefully we can get this resolved quickly.

Thanks,
Paul

I hope so too, but no updates on any of my tickets today... frown
@COMSplc did follow me back on Twitter however.

Hi All,

A quick update on the drops for you.

We have been advised that our 3rd line are testing this and aim to have the testing complete by 17/02 and a fix implemented by 19/02.

If there is any further information, I will pass it across for you.

Kind regards

Dan

I thought I'd share my BT speedtest results. Abysmal, isn't it? I feel like I've reverted to my old 2400 baud modem... frown

We've not received an email for an invoice (normally due on the 12th of the month) and there's no invoices "currently due" on the My Account page. We were on a CCA so I was waiting on the next invoice before putting in card details again.

Are they still sorting things out or is there an overdue invoice waiting to be paid?

Anyone else still waiting on invoices?

Hi gmaskew,

My invoice is showing as overdue and not wanting to be cut off I phoned to see what was happening.

I was advised not to worry and that the payment had been taken from my CCA without problem.
I can see from my online banking that this payment has been made.

This was a couple of weeks ago now and yet it still shows unpaid and overdue.

Payment with coms wont happen until the 1st of the month, that is the new billing cycle, hence no invoices yet.

Regarding overdue ones, dont worry. I used to have a couple of those when paying by DD. I PM'd James when he was with ADSL24 and he said all invoices have to be manually changed from unpaid to paid. They probably havent got around to it due to the migrations
