Whilst the order might be committed, sometimes they can still fail. If it was resubmitted a new IP is then assigned.

We don't give out the IP in the initial email and as DrTeeth mentions, isn't required to get the connection live - you'd just set your router to get this automatically.

The IP is however confirmed on your welcome email once the service is officially live.

Thanks for the information, I think I'd have been lost without it. It's a shame that information isn't included in the first email that's sent out after signing up but hey, who needs it when we have you knowledgeable guys here.
