Probably worth checking with Vivaciti that they have correctly provisioned you on an Annex M product given the drop in upload speed.

They initially didn't provision Annex M but that's fixed now.

My router shows I'm connected as 2Mb upstream but the tbb speedtest shows I'm only getting 0.8Mb. For downloads the router shows 18Mb and the tbb speedtest shows I get 14Mb (just checked my last results for accurate numbers).

I think my exchange is congested as it's showing as "capacity available from September 2014" which might be the cause of the slowdown.

Another evening of slow to respond pages and a resync at 11 pm....

Are you limited to ADSL only where you are? I presume that you cannot get fibre yet.

Long story short Its a less than optimum line in terms of quality, Openjoke wont do anything with it, so when an ISP changes you to connection that lacks the same quality/stability as the previous - you feel it.

Superfarce Cymru manage to foul up the survey for standing the fibre twin, so as the rest of the town goes live now we are still stuck in the slow lane and Superfarce Cymru wont give us any idea fo what is actually happening or when (if ever) we are likely to join the rest of the town.

It really is a joke - in poor taste too.

Sorry to hear that, I hope one day that they sort it out, so you can get fibre also. It is bad when everyone else mucks up what could have been better for the rest of your town., not just part of it.
