can usually set your own snr on Uno control page, but that is not working at the moment due to TTB - That said, Matt will nail your snr to what you want while this is the case. Fixed mine to 6db target instead of the TTB 12db. I have since pushed that down to 3db with my router and I am as stable as can be. This is on a line that was a problem with all suppliers prior to Uno switch.
Matt done the same for me yesterday and now on 6db. My Draytek hasn't the facility to set snr on router side.
Incidentally, what are the side affects of too low snr? From what I understand, its connection stability meaning more drops. Anything else? Generally seems good and not dropped connection, but at one point last night, while speed testing, dropped to 0.3Mbps. All seems good again now.

I'm aware that Xilo offer 6db, it's what I'm currently on. The router I get the best speeds on doesn't allow me to tweak SNR either, which is why I'm so interested in the potential for it being offered ISP side. I assume that 3db is now technically possible as a TTB provider is offering it; just curious if/when it'll be available on Xilo.

My Uno target is still set at 6db, but their system allows my Billion 7800N to override that to the 3db target it's set at at the moment, or lower if I wish to risk it/ I have had this line hang on to 1db in the past. So far, i have a rock solid connection, with no drops whatsoever. Folks here know the problem my line was with other providers.
