Migration not a cease though is it Matt and it's not because I am switching from LLU to BTW this time that it wrongly shows a cease. Not that it matters anymore to me.

Not quite. Some migrations will show as ceases.

If you check http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome , it'll show that it is considered a cease too.

"There is currently a Broadband cease pending or in progress against this line. This cease is due to complete by xxxx. This will not stop you ordering Broadband from a new supplier, but it will delay the provision of the new Broadband service."

Our checker is showing the same message, just is not specific with the date.

No cease and did not delay my new service Chose the date I wanted, I am just migrating from BTW to BTW this time, I have not been billed for a cease and took the date I wanted. Could have had this week, but will be in Scotland again in a couple of days, so took a date next week. Is the Uno checker saying cease because I am taking a different product?

I cannot tell you why but a cease message can show for some migrations as I stated earlier.

It was due to the , on the end of the link and how this forum parses that as part of the link.

I've edited it but the actual link was and is valid.

No not valid - BUT if I enter the correct address for the adsl checker - NO mention of the order being a cease. What system are you using?

It is at the bottom of your image... the bit that has been half cut off.

I'd remove your phone number from that though.

In that case I am heartily sick of BT categorizing a migration as a cease, and why hell will freeze over before dealing with them direct.
