sagemcom 6t3pnh

[link to this post]

Just signed up for John Lewis service and got a sagemcom 6t3pnh. Is this a new model as I can't find anything on it. frown

Does it support NAT loopback?

Daft that ISPs still aren't matching deals and/or offering customers the best deals they can to retain them, so every year we have to go through this switching process. frown

Plusnet do seem "on the ball" as far as communication is concerned though. I have received several emails about my switch; just a pity they send from an unmonitored address. I did try Shell again but their communication is still very poor, so I gave up and chose JL, as I understand the contract is actually with Plusnet

Which could be where the "pn" in the model number comes from. Possibly due to a tweaked firmware.

Edit: Your contract is with JL. The connection and possibly (dedicated to JL?) first line support is Plusnet.

Connections: OnePlus 8 Pro, 4G+ (LTE) max 165Mbps down, 24Mbps up on Three Mobile, and B311 4G+ router, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up (Three)ZTE MF286D router speedtest.net 113/20Mbps.

Thanks.

So is this the router PN are supplying now? Strange nothing comes up with a Google search, unless it is BRAND new.

Definately states contract is with Plusnet in the blurb.

Is it this model? https://ibb.co/7vX8yKm

John Lewis supply a sagemcom 2704n.

I suspect you are reading the Wireless Name (SSID) as the model number.

Can't believe JL is issuing the Sagecom 2704. as Plusnet ditched it some years ago in favour of their Hub One. If you follow the PN forum you will see that many of us have replaced the Hub One (actually a rebadged BT HH5) with the BT HH6, available for £5-£25 on auction sites.

The Hub One was better than the 2704 and the HH6 is much better than the Hub One. Plenty of help available to set up the HH6, if JL has variations I'm sure the resourceful folk on the PN forum will be able to help. Good luck.

A pity about HH6 Wi-Fi, totally crippled to sell disc repeaters!
