What’s going on with Upp/Virgin?

Upp installed their network around our area a year or so ago. I held off making any decision due to the forced sale situation which I’m sure you’re all aware of. When visiting the Upp site now it says “ Since Upp is now part of Virgin Media O2, you can find superfast speeds and loads of great deals to choose from with Virgin Media.”.

But when you follow the link to virgin media and look up availability is says “Whilst we're busy expanding our network, it looks like we're currently unavailable”.

I know Upp was available at my address as next door (who are served from the same telegraph pole are connected.

Does anyone know what’s going on?
